Cavendish Co-operative Homes was formed by people who came together to create an affordable housing community for themselves and others. The end product of their hard work is a diverse community, where members feel a sense of safety, security and empowerment.

Cavendish Co-operative Homes is a 72 unit co-operative housing community, consisting of 3 and 4 bedroom units.

Cavendish Co-op is based on the principle of participatory democracy, and its operation is controlled by its members. Residents are members, not tenants, and there is no landlord.

The co-op is located at 2118 Pear Tree Lane in Burlington, Ontario. Nearby amenities include city parks and nature trails, Brant Plaza (Tim Hortons, Dollarama etc.), Sobey’s Plaza (Sobey’s, etc.), Shoppers Drug Mart, and the TD and Royal banks.

A Burlington Transit route stops just a few steps away from the co-op, and many schools are within walking distance (St. Marks, Brant Hills).
